Farmatan branded as THRIVE-TAN in Canada is a natural feed flavor using a tannin base ingredient extracted from carefully selected chestnut wood. Farmatan has been shown in studies to stabilize the digestive process in many species as well as increasing immunity levels and general health status.
Naturally produced tannic acid has been used in Europe for generations to protect animals from pathogens that can attack the immune system.
Farmatan stabilizes animals in stress conditions such as weaning, suboptimal air quality, uncomfortable temperatures, and poor hygienic conditions.
