Chopped Alfalfa - Premium alfalfa is one of Nature's most perfect forages and is an extremely palatable, highly digestible source of long stem fiber, protein, energy, vitamins, minerals, and other balanced nutrients that are highly beneficial to horses. In fact, just 10 lbs. of early cut alfalfa, will out yield most horse conditioners on every labeled ingredient, except B-12. (Whereas B-12 is supplied by a healthy microflora population in the hindgut, of which the high long stem fiber/low starch formula of Omnis Complete Performance promotes!)

Whole Northern Oats - Oats are a wholesome and natural source of high quality, nutrient dense energy. They are extremely palatable and provide safe prececal starch digestibility, are high in good fats, help balance the ration's overall Ca:Ph ratio, and are the highest of all cereal grains in fiber. The highly digestible starch available in oats, enhance the performance of fast-twitch muscle fibers and replenish blood glucose levels, lost through competition and strenuous exercise. There is anecdotal evidence that suggest whole oats can be helpful in the reduction of laminitis, runny eyes, liver issues, and even aid in digestion due the highly fibrous nature of the oat's hull.

Whole Canadian Flax - Whole flax seeds provide equine athletes with a multitude of health and performance benefits. Flax can significantly increase the apparent digestibility of Dry Matter, Crude Fiber, and Neutral Detergent Fiber. It improves hoof growth and hoof density. Flax is extremely high in healthy Omega 3 fatty acids, powerful antioxidants, and high mucilage (soluble) fiber. This high fat content is an important fuel for aerobic endurance and can help decrease fatigue, by conserving glucose levels, necessary for heavy anaerobic bursts. Flax seeds provide a natural solution to dull dry coats, itching and skin irritations, and can help protect against sand colic. Finally, flax has a very strong anti-inflammatory property that aids in reduced joint pain and faster recovery from intense exercise and competition.
